Both Dr Joel & Dr Katie qualified as a Chiropractors from the global hub of Chiropractic education, AECCUC in Bournemouth, .
Joel & Katies first class education ensure a thorough examination with an accurate diagnosis and management plans for each patient. They believe that the “Chiropractic adjustment” is vitally important to improving their patient’s health and wellbeing.
Joel & Katies examination approach is designed to accurately analyse underlying problems within the spine before they can become painful
When required, Joel & Katie use soft tissue manipulation such as IASTM and dry needling and other soft tissue releases helping to improve patients’ pain levels and boost their recovery.
In-between appointments, exercises might be needed to help allow the new movement patterns and adjustments to hold. Joel & Katie like to give bespoke 5-10 minute-a-day rehab plans to his patients to help aid their recovery and create new easier movement patterns with less stress and pressure on the spine.

Chiropractic care revolves around improving the function of our spine and our nervous system.
Our nervous system comprises of our brain and spinal cord and controls everything that we do, allowing our brain to communicate with our body and body to brain.
When this communication breaks down, our body will try and compensate for the underlying problem. When this happens for too long, signs and symptoms begin to develop such as pain and dysfunction.
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, holistic type of healthcare that acts to improve the communication between our brain and our body through different healthcare techniques.
As a result, patients over time report a reduction in their pain, an improvement in their mobility and the ability to do the things that they love to do again, whether that’s swinging a golf club, playing with their children or even something as simple as sitting on the sofa.

Chiropractic philosophy is concerned on improving the function of the spine and our nervous system. Chiropractic theory suggests that when stresses build up in our body, they can cause restrictions in the joints in our spine.
When these develop they can cause increased pressure on the nerves that exit affecting our body’s ability to communicate with our brain.
Over time our body compensates for these restrictions causing pain and dysfunction.
Chiropractic (translated into practice by hand). Uses gentle forces applied to the spine called adjustments. These adjustments allow a restoration of correct movement within the joints in our spine taking stress and pressure off the nervous system.
Over time the body signals from the brain to the body are restored and we can begin to not only be pain-free but begin to function at our very best.
